Verdict

Ballygologue made a nice start over timber behind The Real Article at Listowel but didn't improve on his next start at Tipperary three weeks later. Shady Gloom did well on his second run over hurdles behind False Economy at Tipperary and found 2m4f stretching his stamina last time. Commandment has disappointed recently and has had plenty of chances as has Waltzing Tornado, who is still a maiden after 16 starts. Winning point-to-pointer FAIRWOOD MASSINI was just touched off by shock winner The Hamptons at Ballinrobe last month and ran well enough for a long way in a better race at Gowran last time to suggest this is within his capabilities.
