In depth

Verdict

Churchstonewarrior looked like winning over hurdles at Punchestown in November until run out of it close home. He reverts to a bumper with a good chance but CALAGOGO has looked as though this sort of trip would suit in both starts and gets the nod for Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd. He couldn't match strides with Vintage Prosecco at Limerick in November but the winner has a good chance earlier in the day and the remainder were a long way behind. Ballywilliam Boy never got into contention but was staying on when tackling 2m2f on the latter track.
