Billy's Angel hadn't been showing much until well supported at Clonmel last month where he scooted home. He's up 8lb but that's unlikely to prevent another big run. Blue Templar completed a double over the banks fences at the Punchestown Festival in the spring but is still on a higher mark over hurdles despite never winning. Blackyellowred is also a maiden over timber but has shown definite signs of improvement the last twice and still looks on a low enough mark to get competitive again. WESTERN DOYEN ran easily his best race to date when narrowly beaten over the track and trip last week and as that was only his fifth start over timber he wouldn't need much more to take this so gets the nod.
