In depth

DAVINIA'S TIP made all for a very easy victory over this trip on heavy ground at Tramore but couldn't handle the step-up to Grade 2 company and an extra half-mile here two weeks ago. She wouldn't have finished in front of runner-up Elsie in that latter event even if she had managed to stay on her feet but the shorter trip should be in her favour and she can get back to winning ways. Benrouge and Captain Canada have been making too many mistakes and winning point-to-pointer Mr Cosmopolitan ran a shocker at Limerick last month. Saddlers Luck was a long way behind the selection at Tramore but Drumlee would be a danger if jumping round without mishap though he again made mistakes behind Urano at Cork.
