Verdict

Inis Meain has been a great credit to Denis Hogan having achieved a rating of 110 on the Flat with a Listed victory at the Curragh. He's also won twice over hurdles and made a very encouraging debut over fences over a trip too short at Listowel. Any further rain would greatly aid his cause but he has it all to do against JETSTREAM JACK, who embarks on a chasing career that should prove fruitful. A winning point-to-pointer, bumper and smart hurdler, his pedigree shouts chasing and Gordon Elliott's charge looks a nice prospect. The four-year-old Dancing Duke did well to chase home Killiney Court at Ballinrobe and the winner goes in the previous race but he didn't run so well back there later. Baily Moon was beaten a long way on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan and will need to do much better to get involved.
