GYPSY ISLAND was unbeaten in four bumpers in 2018/19 and her only defeat came when a length behind Put The Kettle On in a Navan maiden hurdler. She had Yukon Lil and Colreevy behind when landing a Fairyhouse Listed race by 11 lengths then easily won a Grade 3 Punchestown bumper. She's obviously very high-class but a two-year-absence has to be a concern. Annie G showed potential in bumpers and made a promising start over hurdles when a close third at Ballinrobe so there should be more to come. Aubretia couldn't hold the short-priced favourite Kapard at Roscommon but that was a very good run while Shrule Operator's yard has struck top form and she will have come on for last month's run at Tramore.
