In depth
Verdict
JACK HOLIDAY had been running consistently before gaining his first victory over the course and distance in October and followed up on his return to action at Tramore where he made all and jumped well. He appears to need good ground to bring out the best in him so any more rain wouldn't be welcome but a hat-trick beckons. Bolbec, who was six lengths behind at Tramore, is 8lb better off so must have a chance of reversing the form, as must fourth-placed Broder, and though Espion Du Chenet was beaten 14 lengths he's definitely better than that. Cluan Dara's three career victories have come on testing ground but Thisonesforollie has been finding heavy ground against her and is better than she's been showing.
