Verdict

Aussie Valentine has won twice around here and his young rider's claim can see him in contention again while Cyrus Dallin, from a yard in form, has gained both of his recent victories on soft ground. Ideal Pal shot up the weights after completing a hat-trick in mid-summer and, though gradually working his way back to form, is up 8lb for finishing second last time. ASKERANA made her debut on heavy going at Roscommon last month and was impressive enough to suggest she's well in for her handicap debut. She'll make further progress and gets the vote though Insane Bolt should make a bold bid despite having won only once as he'll love the trip and conditions.
