Verdict

Rocket Lad, who is penalised for his two bumper victories, was engaged in a hurdle race at Gowran yesterday and wouldn't be eligible if he won. Double Talkin Jive came with a late run to snatch the spoils at Killarney and is certain to make progress while Escaria Ten has a smart pedigree and went for £45,000 at the sales after landing a point at Borris House in March. THE LITTLE YANK couldn't contain Friday's winner Soviet Pimpernel at Listowel after leading into the straight. There will be plenty of improvement in him and he can go one better.
