Verdict

Derek O'Connor is easily the most experienced rider here and rode the winner a year ago so Kildrum can be given a chance despite not having won yet. Ask Mary has won her last four between the flags though faces much stiffer opposition here as does Baily Fox, who is 2-12 in point-to-points. The lightly-raced DONJON is starting to show real potential and might just be good enough to see off the challenges of Macs Legend and Oscar Contender, who fought out a finish of a hunter chase at Cork with the latter just having the edge. Buckie Cullen may have followed up an earlier easy victory but for falling two out at Cragmore.
