In depth

Verdict

Many of these arrive from winning point-to-points and could be anything, in particular Liz Doyle's Athlacca winner Chief Admiral and Denis Ahern's Opera Eile, an easy winner at Ballysteen in April. The Pounds has shown enough pace in bumpers to suggest he'll be involved and though Minella Minstrel hasn't run since last June he caught the eye at Gowran though that was on fast ground. Stage King made a promising start at Listowel last month and will improve as will OSCAR INVITATION, whose run behind Magic Vixen at Limerick suggests she can gain her first success here.
