Verdict

Another big field of maidens. Massini's Brook has to carry the maximum for his Clonmel bumper success as does the mare Kilnockin Lady though she ran poorly on her hurdles debut at Punchestown. GLOBALIZED has been making steady progress and almost snatched a handicap over this trip at Cork last time. This should prove within his capabilities though any further rain would enhance his chances. Winning point-to-pointer Springbelle has been crying out for this sort of trip in her three races so far over timber and looks the main threat. Garri Rua was behind the latter on his latest start and looks held and though Sur La Mer has shown potential he'll need to improve to get involved.
