Verdict

Sauanna Belle was in front of Bluerince Lady when they made their debuts at Navan last week though neither are likely to be good enough here. Lupie has shown good pace in both starts and should prove better than Cleveland Street, who attracted very good support on his debut at Dundalk but was never travelling and finished well beaten. Blackbriar is very speedily-bred and the market should be a good guide to her chances but Ballydoyle run two with Joseph on board THE GREAT WAR. He cost one million dollars as a yearling and is the seventh foal of a mare who has already produced five winners and was a winning miler herself. He could prove better at this stage than stablemate Dick Whittington, a half-brother to a couple of speedy performers, though it's not unheard of for the yard to score with their second string.
