In depth

Verdict

A tight little handicap with several in good form though LALDIE gets the vote as Andrew Oliver's charge looked the type to follow when conceding the strongly fancied Tweedy 5lbs and beating her at Fairyhouse. The front-running Bank On Black bounces off the fast going and will be difficult to catch though he's been raised 2lbs despite being beaten by Iron Major over 6f at Cork. Today's trip should suit as it should for another front-runner in Sassaway, still a maiden and wearing blinkers for the first time after looking a little reluctant when passed by Bold Thady Quill at Fairyhouse. An Saighdiur found 7f too far when beaten at odds-on in a three-runner affair at Limerick after a much better effort over this trip at Dundalk.
