In depth

Verdict

Philip Rothwell looks to have found another winning opportunity for WEIHNACHTS, who completed a double over fences in the spring and arrives here on a 16lb lower mark. He's twice finished runner-up over timber and can lose his maiden tag in this sphere. All The Angels is back on the same mark as when last successful over hurdles though hasn't run since October while Brides Hill was only beaten half-a-length by Listenheretomejack at Ballinrobe on just her fifth start. The winner was engaged on the same track last night along with Big Debates but the main threat has to be Magnor Glory, who was well supported and absolutely hacked up at Wexford so a 14lb rise wouldn't prevent another big run if in the same mood.
