In depth

Verdict

Dermot Weld must be despairing of finding a race over hurdles for STUCCODOR as the six-times Flat winner has been placed in seven of his eight starts over timber. His close second to Thomas Hudson at Galway in July is easily the best form on view and he won't get a better chance to lose his maiden tag. Beau Mome has been very disappointing since arriving from France and has been beaten at short odds on several occasions but Weather Watch didn't enjoy heavy going at Fairyhouse in November after better efforts on quicker going. Se Mo Laoch had shown promise in bumpers and was returning from a long absence when beaten a long way on his hurdling bow at Limerick earlier this month so should do better but D'nailor's best run to date came on very heavy ground at Limerick in December.
