In depth

Verdict

Eddie Lynam is a dab hand with sprinters and MORE QUESTIONS appeals as the likelier of his two contenders here. A Navan win was achieved on good ground before a respectable third at the same track under softer conditions when dropped to 5f. This return to better going will aid his cause and he rates the one to beat. Stable companion Sylvan Mist has not tackled the minimum trip since her debut but did the job in fair style at Dundalk when last seen in April. However, she's yet to race on anything other than the all-weather surface and the drop in trip is not necessarily a plus point. Johnny Lynch looks the main threat to the selection after scoring here when tackling this trip for the first time. He looks a sure-fire improver with the only concern being that he has yet to operate on good ground or better.
