Verdict

Alghanem showed nothing over hurdles in the spring but did much better when reverting to the Flat at Dundalk last month when narrowly beaten by Polly Ella. HANGAR FIVE is still a maiden and has had plenty of chances but he's very well handicapped if able to recapture his form of a year ago and is given the nod. Another long-time maiden, Gothen Niece, ran her best race for a very long time at Cork and must be a threat on that form but the three-year-old Filatore has done better so far over 1m2f. Asteroid Belt hasn't had much experience but is the type to improve on just his seventh start.
