Verdict

Dulce Panem may be 0-23 but he was placed at Ayr and Haydock in December in better races than this. Just Spot has done well reverting to hurdles after a lay-off. She’s gone up 4lb for winning at Wincanton but Conor Smith again claims 5lb. Goodnight Charlie bolted up on fast ground here last May but hasn’t raced since and is now 8lb higher. CAFE AU LAIT (NAP) won off a 12lb higher mark the last time he raced over this course and distance. That was a while ago now but he’s found some form again since joining Dan Skelton and, on ground that suits, is probably the one to beat.
