Verdict

Little Venus, Wee Dinns and Quotable are three against the field in another wide open affair and the nomination is given to Little Venus. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind Heltornic last time out and with the drop in trip in her favour she will be hard to beat in what looks an easier affair under conditions that suit. Wee Dinns rates the main danger on her latest second behind Pricelet but she gave the impression she would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and looks opposable for that reason. Quotable is another worthy of respect on her best form but she only needs one more run before she is handicapped at that is where her future may lie. Ballymena is dropping in grade and could go well at a price but she is more exposed than most. Of the remainder Queen's Dancer is from a top yard and is sure to improve but for the winner we return to Little Venus who sets a fair standard and is taken to score.
