Verdict
A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be very informitive but the principals look to be Kayf Keel,Lilac Wine and Jaunty and the narrow vote is given to Kayf Keel. The selection was a fair second on his debut behind Big Secret is sure to have come on for the run and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Lilac Wine rates the main danger but he was behind the selection last time and there is no reason why he should gain his revenge on the same terms here. Jaunty was third in the sqame race and is another with place claims but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and is passed over with this in mind. Of the remainder Kid Charlemagne is a King Charlemagne gelding, half-brother to 1m3f winner Alta Badia and with his yard in form he could go well but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Kayf Keel.
