Verdict
HINTON THUNDERBOLT is taken to bounce back from a tame run and get the better of Chaim and Kildonnan. This is quite a competitive race so Hinton Thunderbolt will be up against it if he isn't able to bounce back to his best but his run at Plumpton was just too bad to be true and he's better judged on his second to a fair sort at Uttoxeter. He relishes testing ground and was good enough to beat Tot O' Whiskey at this track over hurdles so has the requisite class to score. Chaim was still travelling well when unseating here last time but this race looks stronger and his best opportunity to open his account over fences may have passed him by. Kildonnan lacks a recent outing but the yard's horses appear to be running well enough and the yard are four from ten with their chasers here in recent years. He's an out and out stayer who will be at home under these conditions although he did run poorly on his one run at the track over hurdles. Vamizi needs to bounce back from a poor run but has the scope to make a chaser but Distiller, Dolly Grey and Picture In The Sky have more to prove for a variety of reasons although they could all make a modicum of interest if subject to positive vibes but we'll take Hinton Thunderbolt to strike.
