Verdict

SEXY REXY gets the nod on this return to action. Nigel Twiston-Davies has his horses in good form and he brought Major Malarkey back to win after a monster lay-off on Wednesday at Chepstow. This gelding was a Warwick winner in 2008 and can be expected to be fit and raring to go on this belated return. Mister Hyde seems to be getting the hang of things and he looks a stronger horse this year, Dan Buoy's flat form this year means he isn't discounted off a mark of 110. Chaim stays well but might be using this as a fitness run before heading back over fences, American World is deserted by McCoy but his good ground form this summer reads well, whilst True Grit is respected on this first start for Lucinda Russell. Flanagan and Evella look the best of the rest.
