Verdict
The vote here goes to Greenwich ahead Over Zealous and Little Herman. Looking at the field and Over Zealous does not seem as good as he once was but, given that he won from a rating of 101 less than 12 months ago, is entitled to respect off a rating of 90. Don't be surprised if Grumpy Stumpy runs well for, despite his absence, his trainer can get them fit after a lay-off. Greenwich has been running well since his May Plumpton win and, now just two pounds above that winning mark, can go well. Balla d'Aire has also run well since winning a maiden chase at Fakenham three runs ago, and is entitled to respect, while Follow The Flow will keep going when others have cried enough but he remains a maiden over fences. The Irish raider for this contest is Cmewin, but he looks, at best, fairly weighted, and he too has yet to score over fences. Little Herman might also get amongst the money as his form is reasonable enough for this type of race but, for us, the more solid option is Greenwich, who can them all a mean time in the staying handicap chase.
