In depth

Verdict

CHORD has an interesting jockey booking with Denis O'Regan aboard, and if the blinkers can spark a return to form, he has to be respected off a mark of 90 this afternoon. Ponchatrain was disqualified after finishing first past the post at Southwell in July. Crystal Prince was admittedly modest last term though had shown a degree of improvement for racing. Bollywood has plenty of form on a faster surface so if the weather is set fair, he should be thereabouts. Three Boars looks a light of former days whilst Plenty Of Chat has not shown a great deal since leaving Charlie Swan though has had enough opportunities to blow the cobwebs off as far as this season goes.
