In depth

Verdict

Twenty Degrees can end his run of seconds at the expense of Noble Request, with Monsieur Georges and Mnason likely to play a part in proceedings. Gary Moore has his team ticking over nicely at present and it only a matter of time before Twenty Degrees breaks his duck over hurdles. Successful on his bumper debut at Plumpton just over a year ago, he has gone close on a number of occasions, but always seems to get outbattled on the run-in. His last two defeats have been over longer trips than today's, and providing they do not dawdle here, the son of Beveled must have a sound chance of making amends. The horse he beat on his debut, Farnaheezview, has gone on to better things so he obviously has the ability to register a win or two over timber, and although he will be interesting when going handicapping eventually, he can take care of the younger Noble Request. To be fair, Philip Hobbs's charge gets the age allowance and will be a danger on that score, but he was well held by Arrayou at Leicester last time. Of the rest, Monsieur George was not fluent on his last visit here, while Mnason just stayed on at the one pace over the course and distance in December. Twenty Degrees can put matters right.
