Midnight Spirit was never travelling and quickly pulled up at Stratford last time. He looks to be in the handicapper's grip now while Ruby Crown was also pulled up on her latest outing. Lawney Hill's pair, King Ozzy and Giant O Murchu, return from a lay-off and Swiss Guard also lacks a recent run. Meridiem came back to form over C&D last month and, despite a 7lb higher mark, has to go on the short-list again but the better ground will suit MARJU KING, who is starting to come down the weights again and may improve for the fitting of a visor. He gets the nod, though Mickmacmagoole did win in this grade in the autumn.
