Verdict

Not the best betting medium but we do have a strong fancy for Master Papa, who gets a confident vote ahead of Long Road and Denarius Secundus. The selection has to carry a massive twelve stone five here this afternoon but has earned the weight with two impressive victories. He just had to be pushed out to win by a length and three quarters last time at Bangor and there looks to be plenty more to come. Long Road was also successful last time, it was in a hurdles contest at Wincanton. He is making his chase debut this afternoon and will no doubt have been well schooled by his top trainer. Denarius Secundus is pretty modest but does at least boast a recent victory, he could run into a place off his low weight. However Master Papa is expected to land the hat-trick, despite his welter burden.
