    Verdict

Arceye has been in fine form of late winning his last two starts, latterly at Chepstow on Saturday, but the 11-year-old may struggle under his penalty and a safer option looks to be Top Dawn, who gets the vote ahead of The Walnut Tree. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and comes into this having been good value for his win at Plumpton last month in first time blinkers. A 7lb rise for that success is perfectly fair and he has to be respected off his light weight. Diamond Cutter has slipped to fair mark but could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Super Lady has given little cause for optimism so far. A market move for The Snurglar would be of interest but preference is for Top Dawn, who was good value for his win at Plumpton last month and he is taken to follow up off his new mark.
