Verdict

TEARS FROM HEAVEN is the confident selection in the finale with Ben Cee Pee M and Brooklyn Bay respected as the dangers. Peter Niven's charge was well backed on debut and was probably given a bit too much to do. This track at Towcester should bring his stamina into play. Ben Cee Pee M was a disappointing favourite at Chepstow last time out. He is probably better than this line suggests. Brooklyn Bay hails from a yard that are doing well with their summer team. His breeding suggests that rain would have been ideal. Barnack is fascinating on debut. There is plenty of hope on the dam side that Pam Sly's charge could be sharp enough to go close. Bianco Fuji was tried in a much better race at Newbury on debut and could be open to improvement. Harry Masters' dam was a winner of a Queen Alexandra Stakes winner so it will be no surprise to see improvement for a step up in trip. Restless Harriet failed to realise anything at the sales so is passed over. Tears From Heaven went into many notebooks last time and can pay that faith tonight.
