Verdict

Hartside has collected a penalty for only winning by a head at Carlisle last week and isn't going to find it easy to follow up here. Flashman is proving hard to place over timber but did win a couple of times over staying trips on the Polytrack earlier this year while there's a feeling that Simple Assignment is capable of better. Ride On Time, Bunclody and Dainty Diva could also figure but The Kvilleken usually struggles at this level. PIED DU ROI's latest third at Chepstow was a big step up on previous efforts and he may have finally turned the corner. He is one of the least exposed in this and the stiff track should suit his running style.
