      Verdict

      Thomas Crapper found only Valdez too good at Warwick last month but has a bit to find with Jackstown on their run together over this C&D earlier. Paul Webber sets a poser by saddling the twice-raced Struanmore as well as newcomer Arewenearlythere but we'll take a chance on another debutant in SOLEIL MALTA. Mick Easterby's Shaanmer gelding is a half-brother to three winners in France and wouldn't need to be anything special to make a winning start in this.
