In depth

Verdict

Neil King's Ramvaswani is capable but remains a maiden after 53 career starts under all codes and preference in a poor quality contest is for SILVER SNITCH, who gets the vote over Mylo. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding has disappointed in recent starts but he has slipped to a decent mark as a result and has to be considered with the yard's runners in good form. Paul Webber's Edgevine has shown ability but remains a maiden after eight starts and is probably going to have to settle for a place at best, while Merry Music has struggled since making a winning racecourse debut in a bumper in Ireland. Wembley Way looks to be one of the lesser lights in Nicky Henderson's stable and is hard to recommend, while Jim Best's Dolans Bay has been well held in recent starts. Martin Keighley's The Fox's Decree is relatively lightly raced and remains open to improvement but preference is for Silver Snitch. Ian Williams has his string in good form and he looks worth chancing in a race that should not take much winning having run much better when a close fifth at Market Rasen last time.
