In depth

Verdict

Downtherefordancin, Fattaan and So Sure are the three to concentrate on with the vote going to Downtherefordancing. The selection was a disappointing favourite at Fontwell last time when he failed to jump with any fluency, but he should have improved for that run, and it will be a major surprise if he is not good enough to take this with A P McCoy again booked for the ride. Fattaan looks the main danger based on his win at Exeter last time, although that was a moderate contest and this looks a bit more difficult. So Sure is the only other one that can be seriously considered, and he certainly would have chances if he could translate his flat form over hurdles. However, he has so far failed to do so and may be best watched again here. This is a poor race, and it should be a straightforward opportunity for Downtherefordancing.
