Verdict
Farceur, Six Pack and Castle River are the three to concentrate on here and the confident vote goes to Farceur. The selection is another Martin Pipe French import, and he ran well enough on his last start in France at Auteuil behind Melbo to be worthy of plenty of respect. Six Pack has shown ability on the flat and could be capable of troubling the selection, but he can not be backed with any real confidence as he has yet to translate that form over hurdles. Castle River looks a more realistic danger and he ran well enough behind Bid For Fame at Uttoxeter last time to suggest he might be good enough to take a hand in the finish here. The rest look a fairly moderate bunch, so we are happy to side with the Pipe and A P McCoy combination, and the vote goes to Farceur.
