      Verdict

      SAINTE LADYLIME has a penalty to carry but she's still difficult to oppose in this opener. She easily beat an odd-on chance at Wincanton at the start of the month with the rest nowhere. Lemtara Bay should be the one for forecast-backers as she has the scope to do much better now switched to hurdles and her stable is in good form at present. Gray Wolf River has won a point-to-point but has shown nothing so far under Rules.
