Tara Tavey is back on the same mark as when successful last year but she appears to have lost her way. Precious Ground was only beaten a neck dropped a couple of pounds at Exeter and should be winning again soon. Storm Alert is often placed but it's two years since he was last in the winner's enclosure and Kapricorne has been disappointing over fences. NEWTON THISTLE (NAP) is best known as a chaser but loves it here and, taking into account Maurice Linehan's claim, runs off an 11lb lower mark than over fences.
