Verdict

Table Bluff was progressive last summer but hasn't raced since October. Odds On Dan makes more appeal off the back of a narrow victory at Sedgefield, despite the penalty. Red Whisper and Beauchamp Viking are old rivals around here. The latter came out on top last time but the former had triumphed earlier over track and trip and there is little between the pair on today's terms. Carobello has been in action more recently than Thom Thumb but MOONLIGHT MAGGIE should beat both. Tom George's mare is back in the right grade following her latest fourth at Southwell so gets the nod, though will need to settle better to get home on this stiff track.
