Verdict
Diamant Noir is the confident choice here with Countess Camilla and Material World the others worthy of serious consideration. The selection is currently in great heart and won well when defeating Early Start on this track earlier in the month. The five-year-old from the Jonjo O'Neill yard has been hugely consistent and will relish the step up in trip. Countess Camilla could represent the main danger as she beat our selection at Huntingdon back in February. However, she had the run of the race that day and our selection looks to have improved significantly since that run. Material World should also go well, but is opposable as this mare was off the bridle a long way from home when beating Spring Lover at Folkestone earlier in the month. Rideway Rose could also go well if supported in the market, while Cansalrun might have each-way prospects. This looks a competitive race with many in-form rivals going to post, but Diamant Noir remains a confident selection.
