Verdict
Winning pointer Pontresina is rated 5lb higher than the inconsistent Take Em Out and this is a lesser contest than the one in which he finished third at Kempton last time. IN THE PIPELINE’s dam won around here and Brendan Powell’s gelding was third over course and distance on his hurdling debut. Any further progress would put him bang in the firing-line. Flemenstrix was tailed off in a bumper at Chepstow on his introduction and is probably best watched today.
