Verdict
BIG ACE showed good progress to finish second over the minimum trip at Beverley a fortnight ago. Tim Easterby’s charge gets the nod with further improvement likely. Zebzardee was a well-beaten third at the same Beverley meeting but is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Firewater, a half-brother to a 6f winner. Aisling and Certain Lad are other debutants to note though all their winning relatives came good when tried over longer trips.
