      Verdict

Pride's Gold wasn’t beaten far when third at Wolverhampton and Amandine finished runner-up at Kempton when last in action. Both are preferred to Counter Spirit, also placed at the same Kempton meeting, but HERMOSITA makes most appeal. A winner over 6f at Yarmouth on last year’s debut, she returned to action with a third at Wolverhampton and Roger Varian’s filly is expected to improve for this extra distance. Grand Company is a half-sister to a Listed winner and a newcomer to keep an eye on.
