        Verdict

        SAVAANAH is taken to make a winning return on these terms. A runner-up at Goodwood and Kempton last year, Roger Charlton’s filly has the beating of both Voyager Blue and Creel at the weights. Both of the latter pair drop back down in trip after disappointing efforts over 1m2f at Doncaster in March while Born In Thorne’s debut second came in an all-weather bumper at Southwell. The remainder with experience make little appeal and neither does the newcomer Mary Mapel on breeding.
