In depth

Verdict

Bally Lagan looks to have been reeled in by the handicapper and has to concede weight all round. Edlomond isn’t badly treated but lacks a recent run and Pembroke House doesn’t tend to find much off the bridle, though Richard Johnson keeps faith with the Worcester second. LINED WITH SILVER was a little wayward in his jumping at Worcester 11 days ago but kept finding to hold off No No Cardinal and this stiffer track might suit – he is only a pound higher today. Bestwork only found one too good at Exeter last month and is unexposed so is an obvious danger.
