In depth

Verdict

A wide-open contest in which all arrive with some sort of chance. Cannon Fodder usually takes on better opposition than this while McCoy partnered Shades Of Bay to victory at Doncaster in December and Kim Bailey's mare has every chance of reversing recent Ludlow running with Blameitalonmyroots and fractionally better terms. Tara Tavey wasn't winning out of turn here 11 days ago but is 8lb higher now while Madam Lillibet has been raised 6lb for winning at Carlisle, though will enjoy the uphill finish here. ICONIC ROSE is another thorough stayer and hammered Rosa Fleet by eight lengths at Market Rasen earlier this month. She can confirm running and is just preferred to course winner Dardanella at the weights today.
