Verdict

Six of the eight runners in this are course winners but age seems to have caught up with Overton Lad while Red Rouble is on a long losing run. COSWAY SPIRIT finished behind Jolly Boys Outing and Tinelyra over track and trip 11 days ago but led turning for home and wasn't punished once his chance had gone. He's been dropped a few pounds since and could come out on top today, though Monty's Revenge won't be far away if in the mood and Midnight Dove cam within half-a-length of shedding his maiden tag at Leicester at the start of the month.
