      Verdict

      A competitive finale rounds off the card with the principles likely to be Adalie, Strong Magic, Athnowen and Follow The Trend and we will side with Adalie. The selection was slightly disappointing last time out at Hereford but prior to that had won well at the same course when defeating Alleged Slave. He looks well-in on that effort and with his amateur jockey taking off 7lbs he will be hard to beat. Strong Magic rates the main danger on his win over Ice Cool Lad, but that form has since taken a few knocks and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Athnowen would be a danger to all if he was guaranteed to get round but he has failed to complete on two of his last four starts so he can't be backed with any confidence. Follow The Trend is another that is taking a drop in trip and he was a fair third behind Restless Wind last time. He goes on any ground and his quick accurate jumping could have many of his rivals in trouble. This is a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum and we will make Adalie the tentative choice.
