In depth

Verdict

Shark Hanlon has his string in great form and the County Carlow trainer has three runners on today's card. His ADARENNA (NAP) is probably the only one of these not to have a question mark against her as she stayed on into second at Ludlow last time and is likely to be suited by this stiffer track. Only Gorgeous ran well for a long way over 2m4f at Wincanton latest so might be suited by the shorter trip. Flashman probably wouldn't be far away if on a going day, though wouldn't want any more rain. Distant Rain was favourite at Wincanton last week following his second at Uttoxeter but disappointed.
