In depth

Verdict

Ascotdeux Nellerie was pulled up after blundering his way around Ludlow on his chasing bow and it's no surprise to see him reverting to hurdles. Verygoodverygood is the logical choice as he's on a hat-trick after victories at Ffos Las and Chepstow. He's only a pound higher than his latest win but steps up a grade for this. Vive Le Roi returns from a break and has top weight but Mr Fickle could be interesting and makes more appeal than stablemate King Cool. VEDANI has a good record here and arrives off the back of a decent effort over 2m4f at Sandown. Tony Carroll's charge can go one better here.
