Verdict

KELTIC MOON is our selection with Waltham Abbey and Scalini's put up as the alternatives. The selection came up against course specialist, The Hardy Boy last time out and provided that the going stays with soft in the description, he is more than capable of giving lumps of weight away. Waltham Abbey should have come on for a first run and the first experience of fences will not be lost on him. Scalini's was well touted ahead of a recent Hereford event. This looks tougher but this former plater is in good form. Anchor's Bridge represents the archetypal yard in the form so must be respected as a consequence. Follow Your Heart had bits and pieces of form for Nick Gifford and is likely to front run here. Mr Ironman was a dour staying type when trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies. Zanzibar Boy was a fair sort in bumpers before absence and would make a fair degree of appeal here if the ground dried out. Tosula has been in fair nick of late and has obvious place claims again. Woodview is a regular in poor events of this nature. Keltic Moon ticks most boxes on this occasion.
